Hello to all participants of the LJUBLJANA OPEN 2026 competition!
Below is information about the course of the competition.
The competition will take place at the Kodeljevo Sports Hall, Gortanova ulica 21, Ljubljana.
The entrance for competitors will be separate from the entrance for spectators.

ARRIVAL BY BUS
Teams arriving by bus to the competition are asked to inform the driver that access to the street in front of the hall is not possible, as the street is a dead end and narrow, with many parked cars. Unfortunately, there is no parking space for buses next to the hall.
COMPETITION REGISTRATIONS
Check-in will take place from 07:00 to 12:00 at the Faculty of Sports. Upon arrival, competitors should arrange themselves in the order they are listed on the registration form and should bring a photo ID or a photocopy of the document.
CHANGING ROOMS
The changing rooms are located in the Kodeljevo sports hall and the Faculty of Sports. The schedule of clubs by changing room will be at the registration of competitors and at the entrance for competitors in the Kodeljevo sports hall. We ask you to ensure that all participants in the competition respect other people's property. In addition to the above, you must ensure that items of greater value are always under control, as the organizer is not responsible for any possible theft of your property and any damage caused. After the competition and leaving the changing rooms, we ask you to clean up the trash and leave the changing room in its original condition.
WARM UP
A warm-up hall will be provided at the Faculty of Sports (Mangart Hall), where competition surfaces will be set up (carpet for cheerleading and marley for performance cheer). During official training, have music on your phone - it will be possible to use an AUX cable or Bluetooth connection.
COMPETITIOR STANDS
Stands for competitors, coaches and supporters are provided at the exit from the competition area (marked on the sketch). The spectator grandstands will be for spectators only and competitors will not be allowed to enter these grandstands.
MUSIC
Please upload the music for all registered performances to the link below by Thursday, February 5, 2026 at the latest. Label them with the number indicated on the competition schedule, the name of the group, the name of the club and the abbreviation of the category (e.g.: 01_LADIES_ŠKD POM-PON 2000_STCJ). Keep the music with you on a spare USB stick.
OPENING CEREMONY
The official part of the competition will start at 08:45. There will be no opening parade. The competition will be opened with a welcoming speech and the national anthem. Competitors are asked to be in the competitors' stands during this time, and the first three competition groups at the GROUP PREPARATION location.
COMPETITION
Two rounds before their competition, competitors should gather at the GROUP PREPARATION location, and before that in the LOBBY at the beginning of the corridor. They should have an ID with a photo and date of birth with them, as the competitors' identities will be checked before leaving for the competition area. Competitors are asked not to linger in the corridor, as this will hinder the flow of traffic.
TEAM PHOTO
Before the official training session, a group photo session will be held in the warm-up hall. The course and all locations are marked on the attached sketch.
TEAM SLOVENIA 2026
Before the announcement, the Slovenian national team, which will represent Slovenia at this year's World Championships in Florida, USA, will also be presented at the competition.
AWARD CEREMONY
After the competition part, we will announce the results and award medals and certificates. In each category, we will announce the results from last to first place. From last to 4th place, one representative of the group should receive a certificate. For the positions from 3rd to 1st place, all competitors should come to receive certificates and medals.
RAFFLE
During the competition, a raffle with tempting prizes will be held in the corridor above the grandstand. The price of a ticket will be 3.00 EUR, and each ticket will be a winner. Please inform your competitors and fans about this.
TICKETS
Adults: 10.00 EUR
Children (3-7 years): 5.00 EUR
Tickets for spectators will be available for purchase from 08:15.
MVP AWARD
After the official results are announced, we will also announce the best performance cheer and cheerleading group. The groups that achieve the highest number of points in each discipline will receive a prize of €200.
AWARD FOR THE LOUDEST AND MOST FAIR-PLAYING FANS
This year, we will award a practical prize to the loudest, most coordinated and fairest fans. The winning fan group will receive a €100 voucher. The loudest, most coordinated and fairest fans will be announced at 5:00 PM, when the results start to be announced.
